Terms of use

The licence
Devrim is sold through the App Store, and your use of it is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. That agreement is the licence — including what it says about warranties, liability and governing law — and nothing on this page replaces it. What follows is the part specific to Devrim: what you are buying, and what the app is for.
The app
Devrim is an iPad application that tiles browser panes and SSH terminals. You are licensed to use it on the devices allowed by your Apple Account, for any lawful purpose.
What it costs
- Devrim Pro, yearly — $14.99 for one year, charged to your Apple Account.
- 7 days free for anyone whose Apple Account has not had the trial before. Cancel before it ends and you are charged nothing.
- Bought once — $24.99, a single payment. It does not renew and does not expire.
- Prices are in US dollars and differ by region. What you will actually pay is shown in the app before you confirm anything.
How the subscription renews
- It renews automatically for another year unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancel or manage it in Settings on your device: your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. The period already paid for runs to its end.
- Buying Devrim outright during a free trial forfeits whatever is left of the trial.
What happens before it is paid for
The app is usable without paying: every pane, terminal and floating window works, with no time limit and no account. Two things are held back. The other three desks are locked, so an unpaid copy works on one desk at a time; and the arrangement of that desk is not kept between launches, so the app opens on its welcome desk each time. Paying for it — either way — unlocks the desks and makes the workspace persist.
Refunds
Purchases go through Apple, and refunds are Apple's to give. Ask through reportaproblem.apple.com. If something is broken, write first — a fix helps more people than a refund does.
What you connect to
Devrim connects where you tell it to. You are responsible for having permission to access the servers you connect to, and for what you do once you are there. It is a tool for reaching machines that matter to you, and it should not be the only way you can reach them.
Changes to these terms
If they change, the date at the top changes with them. A change to what you pay or what you get will be stated plainly here rather than left to be noticed.
